Product Review: e.l.f. Cosmetics

Lately, the blog-o-sphere has been a buzzzzz with the newest releases from e.l.f. cosmetics. I am always looking for a super deal on good quality make-up (can you really beat $1, $3 and $5 items??) so when I was in Target yesterday, I went on a search; I picked up a few goodies and tested them out this morning:

$3 Glossy Gloss in Dragonfruit (the LAST ONE on the shelf!)

Nice coverage and color, smells like soft vanilla and lasts a while.

$3 Eyelid Primer in Nude, White and Champagne

The formula is like a whipped mousse; I would recommend spreading it with your finger and not trying to use the applicator. It will go on more evenly that way.

$5 Eyeshadow Palette Volume II

The colors had pretty good pigmentation and really holds the color well when you use the primer.

My Naked Eye (yes, I know I have to tweeze that rogue hair!)

I used the nude primer and 4 colors from the Volume II Eyeshadow Palette

Overall...I am very happy with the $ I spent on these items. The eyeshadow colors are sooooo much better than the more expensive palette I bought for $30!

Yesterday, I was cleaning up and re-arranging some items in the house. I came across some of my husband's beer steins and a pitcher so I thought to put them here:

Outfit of the Day: 07/27/11 (minus the outfit!)

I liked everything else about my outfit today...minus the actual outfit!

Sweet score (!) from Ross...sterling silver for $10! It is very hard to find a "K" initial pendant...

I think I found the answer to my hair situation: blow dry it in the opposite direction then fold it over to the other side. WEW!

After all of the dumb, silly, stupid and just plain wack-a-doo things my husband says, I decided to add a section to my blog called Sh*t My Husband Says. Certainly, I cannot be the only woman who deals with this kind of thing; here is my first posting:
